On 3 June 2015 at 7 pm, Elena Kostioukovitch participated in a public dialogue with Davide Paolini focused on the recent Italian edition of her book “Perché agli italiani piace parlare del cibo” (Odoya, 2015). This was part of the Expo-related series of events “Italy, Why Not?" at the "OPEN - More than Books" store in viale Monte Nero 6, Milan.

The event included an exhibition of Alex Pivovarov’s photos. Alex Pivovarov was the author of most of the illustrative photos in Elena Kostioukovitch's book “Perché agli italiani piace parlare del cibo”.
